Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Medication Care Manager

Join Sunrise Senior Living, a leading provider of senior care services, as a Licensed Practical Nurse - Medication Care Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Document medication administration and any changes to resident care plans.
  • Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Practice safety procedures at all times, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fire extinguishers.
Qualifications:
  • LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
