Job Summary

The Oklahoma State University is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Pediatrics department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures, and standards.
  • Provide care and/or services appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients, with consideration of the needs of patients and families.
  • Ensure the patient's immunization record is up-to-date and available to the physician at the scheduled appointment time.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • 2 years college or technical training
  • 6 months of pediatric experience preferred unless internship completed in the OSU Pediatric clinic
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK
  • Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skilled in patient care and medical procedures, including medication administration and triage for pediatric patients.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for patient interaction.
  • Proficient in computer use and quick to learn new tools and processes.
