We are seeking an experienced Desert Biologist to join our team in the Colorado Desert of California. This role involves conducting daily monitoring of desert land, including flora and fauna observations, geolocation, photography, and data logging.
- This position requires a strong knowledge of desert flora and fauna, as well as the ability to work independently in fluctuating temperature conditions.
- You will be responsible for performing desert tortoise reconnaissance surveys, habitat assessments, and non-native vegetation management.
The ideal candidate should have experience with GPS units, topographic maps, and digital data collection.
