About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist III to join our team at SSM Health DePaul Hospital. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nutrition care to patients, staff, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutrition care to patients on various inpatient units, including cardiac step down, stroke/neuro, geriatric, and general medicine, behavioral health, oncology, ortho, and bariatric surgery.
  • Conduct daily patient satisfaction rounds, monthly test trays, meal accuracies, and patient rounds to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop strong relationships with nursing and medical staff to drive outstanding patient satisfaction results and process improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and other Sodexo management team to provide exemplary care to patients, staff, and community.
  • Work with dietetic interns from Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri for acute care clinical training.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • 7+ months of general supervision experience and 3 years of experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty.
