Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nocturnist Hospitalist to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at UnitedHealth Group Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and comprehensive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Manage a patient panel with a focus on geriatrics and Medicare Advantage coverage
  • Develop and implement quality metrics to drive patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements
  • Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
  • Valid DEA license
  • 1+ year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Ability to work 12 hours at night on a regular basis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
  • A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
