Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Nocturnist Hospitalist to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at UnitedHealth Group Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and comprehensive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Manage a patient panel with a focus on geriatrics and Medicare Advantage coverage
- Develop and implement quality metrics to drive patient outcomes
- Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices
- Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
- Valid DEA license
- 1+ year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Ability to work 12 hours at night on a regular basis
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
- A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
