As a Staff Nurse at Kaiser Permanente, you will provide high-quality nursing care to a defined group of patients on an on-call basis. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to coordinate and facilitate healthcare services, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with patients and families to develop health care goals and priorities.
- Provide nursing interventions safely and competently, and evaluate patient response to care.
- Anticipate and recognize changes in patient status and need for nursing care, and modify the individual plan of care accordingly.
- Participate in multidisciplinary quality assurance activities and contribute to the development of professional nursing standards.
- Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support required at hire.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ambulatory care nursing experience.
- Primary nursing or case-management experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
