Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at the Westin Alexandria, a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Alexandria's Old Town. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages to our guests, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare beverages requested by customers or servers according to standard operating procedures, ensuring proper proportions and ingredients while controlling costs and providing a consistent product to guests.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas to maximize efficiency, setting up the bar and back bar according to established procedures.
  • Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner, following up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Perform pre and post-shift side work, including stock service station and making coffee.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months of F&B outlet customer services experience, including cash handling and preferably previous Barista experience.
  • Be incredibly friendly, customer-centric, and love to smile and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers.
  • Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
