Medasource is seeking a skilled Audiologist to provide professional services in identifying, appraising, and interpreting communicative disorders of hearing. The ideal candidate will participate in hearing conservation programs, aural habilitative and rehabilitative programming, and coordinate the audiological work of subordinate staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic and case management of audiologic services to Clinic and Non-Clinic patients.
  • Offer services related to hearing aids, including evaluations, fittings, repairs, modifications, and routine monitoring.
  • Oversee annual calibration of audiological equipment and monitor warranted repair.
  • Partner with regional birthing hospitals, families, and community audiologists to ensure infants are screened for hearing loss and receive necessary follow-up services.
  • Counsel patients and families on available resources in their community and facilitate transition from pediatric to adult care.
  • Coordinate the audiometric work of nonprofessional or professional subordinate staff, including nurses, hospital and school personnel, graduate students, early interventionists, and others.
Requirements
  • Practicing Audiologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and licensure in KY.
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and critical thinking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Experience with cochlear implants and other implantable devices is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Records Management.
  • Travels as needed.
