The Junior Plant Engineer will support Senior Plant Engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of plant facilities and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Plant Engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of plant facilities and systems.
  • Support the Mechanical and Electrical Foremen in the delivery of the plant operation.

Technical Assistance:

  • Provide technical support and assistance in the planning and execution of various plant activities part of a major civil engineering projects.

Support the warehouse management:

  • Purchasing of furniture and machines, inspection of warehouse.
  • Maintain a complete equipment register database updated with servicing, repair, and usage records.
  • Ensure plant, equipment, and vehicles meet all regulatory and Occupational Safety and Health regulations.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous professional experience in construction or industrial maintenance.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Meticulous, methodical, and organized.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
