Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Flatwater Group is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, with a focus on providing high-quality services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake procedures, including obtaining general medical information, recording vital signs, and evaluating patients.
- Provide pre-treatment, treatment, and post-treatment care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, minor surgeries, and wound care management.
- Administer prescribed medications via various routes and monitor patients for reactions.
- Initiate IVs, regulate flow rates, and administer prescribed IV fluids and oxygen therapy.
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of patient interactions and care.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of treatment areas and ensure proper stocking of supplies.
- Act as a liaison between patients and primary care providers, communicating changes in patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Provide technical guidance and training to other medical support staff and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a state-approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the United States.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification renewed every two years.
