About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Barnes Group. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble parts to close tolerance using various tools and machinery.
  • Use hand tools and machinery to bring parts to customer specifications, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Operate calibrated tools and measuring devices to verify parts meet customer requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with production personnel to repair and rework parts when necessary.
  • Utilize complicated prints, drawings, and process sheets to perform layouts and complete work orders accurately.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, and documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadline pressures.
  • Proficient in computer systems and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our company offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.
