Job Title: Storeroom Attendant

Vallen is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Attendant to join our team. As a Storeroom Attendant, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and issuing inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload and receive incoming products, goods, tools, and equipment, and accurately sort, label, and store items.
  • Issue products, goods, tools, and equipment to site employees, and maintain accurate records for issued and returned items.
  • Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records, and retrieve stored information to respond to inquiries.
  • Assist with inventory level maintenance, perform cycle counts, and prepare report results.
  • Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects, wear, and tear, and report damage or wear to supervisors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Relevant experience and/or aptitude in loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment, and proficiency in basic computer skills and mathematical calculations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, and ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Work environment may not be temperature controlled, and must be able to work in extreme hot or cold environments.
  • Must be able to handle and work physical inventory, and be able to lift up to 25 lbs. or greater with assistance following standard operating and safety procedures.
