Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily Opportunity

Ryder is seeking a qualified Class A CDL truck driver to join our team in Seekonk, MA. As a CDL A truck driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and delivering goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
Benefits:
  • Weekly guarantee of $1450
  • Hours per week: variable
  • Solo miles pay: $0.73 per stop with 1-4 stops per day
  • Paid training
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, no weekends
  • Start time: dispatch 2:00 AM-5:00 AM

Ryder offers a range of benefits to its drivers, including uniforms and boot allowance, paid personal time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k) rollover and contributions with company match at one year.
