Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the load out schedule with in-house distribution and outside contractors.
  • Combine Capacity Planning, Production, and Warehouse inputs and key transfer orders into our system to ship to inventory centers.
  • Tender loads to contracted carriers and set pick up appointments.
  • Make adjustments in our mainframe system as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure product pulled for production follows SAP requirements.
  • Implement a first-in/first-out philosophy.
  • Maintain forklift safety and certification requirements.
Requirements
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in spreadsheet, word, transportation, and cold chain applications.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, HACCP, FDA, DEA, safety regulations, sanitation, and food safety as required for warehouse operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 10 years of warehouse management experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressively more responsible warehouse experience, including leadership experience.
