Job Description:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for nuclear medicine procedures, operating equipment to produce images, and interpreting results to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and addressing concerns

  • Interpret results, identify abnormalities, and provide recommendations for further testing or treatment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective treatment plans and ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess a degree in nuclear medicine technology or a related field and be certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). You should also have prior experience working in a nuclear medicine department and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
