Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Manager to join our team at ASSA ABLOY. As a key member of our Operations Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and maintain complex electrical systems and machinery.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
  • Oversee large-scale electrical projects, including new installations and upgrades.
  • Conduct detailed inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams on electrical system design and modifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of electrical work, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians and maintenance staff.
  • May initiate and recommend purchases of new capital equipment.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Completion of electrical certification programs would be a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience within a industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising electrical teams.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
