Job Title: Engineering Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Geologist to join our team at the State Water Resources Control Board. As an Engineering Geologist, you will play a critical role in protecting California's waters for the benefit of current and future generations.

Job Summary:

The Engineering Geologist will be responsible for permit application reviews, conducting inspections, responding to public inquiries, writing technical memos and inspection letters, and reviewing discharge reports and making recommendations to the Board.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct permit application reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Respond to public inquiries and provide technical information
  • Write technical memos and inspection letters
  • Review discharge reports and make recommendations to the Board
Requirements:

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.
