Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique requirements of each student, ensuring compliance with educational standards.
  • Deliver specialized instruction across different settings, including mainstream classrooms, small group sessions, and individualized support.
  • Adapt and modify educational materials to accommodate the varied learning styles and needs of students with disabilities.
  • Continuously monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to teaching strategies to enhance academic success.
  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, and support personnel to cultivate a nurturing and effective educational atmosphere.
  • Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special education services.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation, including IEPs and student performance records.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, parent-teacher discussions, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a valid teaching license in Special Education.
  • Preferred additional certifications in areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, or Learning Disabilities.
