Healthcare Operations Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Operations Specialist to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. This PRN position offers a competitive estimated salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.
About the Position
In this role, you will coordinate unit activities, manage patient records, and process physician orders. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, reporting hazards and violations, and working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate unit activities, ensuring efficient operation and effective communication
* Manage patient records, compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence
* Process physician orders, transcribing and entering data into computer systems
* Safely transport patients and other items as directed
* Maintain a safe environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work variable shifts and lift 30-50 pounds
