Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist performs radiological procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the ARRT. Technologist may be asked to work a shift not normally worked to cover the needs of the Radiology Department. Follows Service Behaviors when interacting with patients & patient's families, physicians and other hospital employees.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
