Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at United Global Technologies. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure services using AWS.

About the Role

The Senior Platform Engineer will work closely with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the reliability, efficient operation, and scalability of our key applications in various environments.

  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
  • Collaborate with CCoE and development teams to understand infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with architectural principles and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automated provisioning and configuration management.
  • Implement high availability, backup strategies, and disaster recovery for supported applications ensuring business continuity and data protection.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines that adhere to CCoE guidelines, automating application deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure services or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux system administration.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and testing.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, and a hybrid work environment with 3 days per week at our office in Paramus, NJ.
