**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Transport Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Care Driver, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently between facilities.
This is a per diem position that requires flexibility in scheduling. You must have a current State Driver's License in good standing and be able to obtain a Class E license within three months of employment.
**Responsibilities:**
Drive company vehicles in a safe manner according to the written schedule.
Maintain company vehicles in a clean condition, interior and exterior at all times.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and report problems to your supervisor.
Assist with the transport of furniture and supplies between facilities.
Transport patients from their homes to designated facilities for appointments.
Deliver interoffice mail to the appropriate facility at designated times.
**Requirements:**
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Direct patient care experience required.
Current State Driver's License in good standing required: Acquisition of a Class E license allowing for the operation of a bus is required within three months of employment.
Minimum of one year of work experience as a driver required.
