Housekeeping Specialist

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff, contributing to the overall well-being and positive atmosphere of the facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and services.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including cleaning bathrooms, common areas, group rooms, and offices, ensuring all spaces are kept in a clean and orderly state.
- Interact courteously, positively, and professionally with staff, clients, and guests.
- Disinfect surfaces with provided supplies.
- Dusts and polish furniture and fittings, vents, windowsills, and ledges.
- Clean facility windows.
- Move furniture, waste bins, small equipment, and other items for proper cleaning and return space to recommended layout.
- Maintain floors including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Collect and dispose of general trash and waste.
- Monitor and replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other supplies.
- Maintain equipment, tools and storage areas, keeping all in good operating condition.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to facility leadership.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience required, 1+ years of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Ability to work around cleaning products and chemicals.
