Responsibilities- Provide quality care to acute, subacute, and chronically ill residents, administering medications and treatments according to established standards.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory of medications, ensuring accurate distribution and monitoring for side effects.
- Provide guidance and direction to auxiliary staff, participating in report meetings and communicating with residents, guardians, and family members.
- Ensure preventative measures are in place, including specialty mattresses, foam boots, and regular skin checks.
- Respond promptly to alarms and ensure restraint alternatives are in place.
- Provide quality end-of-life care, using comfort baskets to meet resident and family needs.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- No experience required.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
