About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional at Redwood Family Care Network, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your mission is to promote their health, safety, and well-being, while also advocating for their rights and interests.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for caregiving and a commitment to delivering person-centered services. You will work closely with our clients to develop and implement Individual Program Plans (IPPs), which outline their goals, needs, and preferences.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
  • Supporting clients with meal preparation and clean-up
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and activities
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients

You will be required to report any incidents or concerns to management, and communicate regularly with administrators to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of professional or personal experience in caregiving, and a California Driver's License. Preferred qualifications include Direct Support Professional certification, Crisis Prevention Intervention training, and First Aid/CPR certification.
