Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient blood collection processes.
- Verify and complete orders, ensuring that patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Resolve orders in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Document test results and diagnoses in laboratory forms and requisition forms.
- Process specimens according to testing lab requirements and guidelines.
- Perform CLIA Waived and Point of Care testing according to Laboratory Procedure Manual guidelines.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy or Clinical Laboratory Assistant certification preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory environment and clerical skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
