ROLE SUMMARY
The Assembly Technician will perform assembly tasks to fulfill same-day or next-day customer orders, with optional overtime available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards and procedures
- Manage inventory effectively, ensuring proper storage and control
- Safely operate auto bagging and shrink wrapping machines
- Verify and count materials according to work orders
- Update work order transactions in the SAP system
- Collaborate with peers to meet customer deliverables promptly
- Address discrepancies and seek assistance when necessary
- Provide basic shipping functions as needed
- Support planning and resolve priority issues as required

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Capability to operate material-handling equipment
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying work conditions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Preferred experience with SAP and shipping processes
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with material handling is advantageous

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly walk, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The position may require lifting and moving items up to 40 pounds.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, with a moderate noise level. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
