Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A to join our team. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Comply with all applicable federal and state regulations, including hours of service and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a valid endorsement
  • At least 9 months of experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
