Cell Operator

We are seeking a skilled Cell Operator to join our team at Kirchhoff Automotive. As a Cell Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating assembly equipment, following work instructions, and ensuring quality and quantities of parts produced meet required specifications.

• Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.
• Follow work instructions as outlined in Standard Operation Sheet (SOS) and Job Element Sheet (JES).
• Load/unload parts in/out of welders, dies, trunions, and/or assembly fixtures.
• Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and/or rivets together parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.
• Ensure quality and quantities of parts produced to meet required quality specifications and production rates.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Fulfill all necessary paperwork associated with the job.

• No minimum experience is required.
• Ability to read and demonstrate understanding of documents such as safety rules, work instructions, maintenance instructions, employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to apply basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and sound judgment to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels in a team environment.
• Ability to use hands to grip, finger, handle and/or feel parts.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
