Compensation:

Expected pay for this position is $49.72; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Additionally, you will receive a $2.50 Weekend Differential.

Job Summary:

Performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional patient data. Completes patient intakes via collection of medical history and answers patient questions regarding imaging procedures. Confers with providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborates to determine if additional images are required.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Eligible for registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered as a Vascular Technologist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI).
  • Must take Registry exam within 6 months of employment and pass within 1 year.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 months of prior related clinical experience to be able to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, equipment operation, and to gain knowledge of patient care techniques.
