Foreman Job Description

Pullman, a Structural Group company, is a nationally recognized Union Contractor seeking experienced Foremen for work throughout the country. We are currently recruiting for Foremen for our office in Imperial, PA, serving the Greater Pittsburgh market.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise on-site field crews, accurately estimating labor requirements.
  • Develop crew schedules and ensure work completion according to plans and specifications.
  • Complete daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets, and speed memos for customers and internal management.
  • Ensure crews operate tools and equipment safely, properly, and productively.
  • Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates related to the project.
Requirements:
  • 7 years of experience in general construction, with at least 3 years in a Leadman or similar position.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and contract specifications.
  • Established commitment to safety.
  • Proven experience in producing look-ahead schedules and working with other construction documents as required by the project.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew, and project teams.
  • Basic computer skills and construction math skills.
  • Preference given to those with experience working with concrete restoration.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a standard MVR check and have reliable transportation.
  • Record of previous safety training is preferred.
  • Candidates must follow our Safety 24/7 culture.
Work Environment:

We typically work at a minimum of 5 eight-hour days.
