Huntington Hospital Pharmacy Technician Coordinator

As a Pharmacy Technician Coordinator at Huntington Hospital, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. This advanced practice position requires a motivated and experienced pharmacy technician who can work independently to coordinate pharmacy automation solutions, scheduling, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate pharmacy automation solutions and scheduling to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Work independently to ensure compliance with cleanroom regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
  • Assist with competency and skill validation of staff members.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Current Registered Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
