Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitoring Specialist to join our team at Select Medical Corporation. As a Cardiac Monitoring Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by continuously monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and alarms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously observe and respond to cardiac monitors, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to alarms.
  • Complete electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretations, including rhythm identification and strip validation by a registered nurse.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining ECG monitor alarms and responding to all alarms as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred background as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Paramedic, or RN nursing student with EKG training.
  • Ability to complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs and required competencies on education platform within 30 days of start date.
