Unit Overview:
The Virginia Commonwealth University Health System's Rheumatology and Allergy programs are renowned for their excellence in patient care, research, and public service. Our team is dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals with autoimmune, musculoskeletal, allergic, and primary immune deficiency disorders.

Position Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team in diagnosing and treating patients with systemic mastocytosis, mast cell activation syndromes, angioedema associated with inherited and acquired forms of C1inh deficiency, and hypereosinophilic syndrome. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Allergy, Immunology, and Internal Medicine, with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care in a clinic setting, approximately one day per week
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex conditions
* Participate in clinical research and education initiatives to advance the field of Rheumatology and Allergy
* Contribute to a diverse and inclusive faculty, staff, and student environment

Requirements:
* Board certification in Allergy, Immunology, and Internal Medicine
* Demonstrated experience in patient care, teaching, and clinical research
