Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Engineer II to join our team in Kent, WA. As a key member of our Engines business unit, you'll design and develop valves and mechanisms that control rocket engines, working closely with colleagues at multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop valves and mechanisms for rocket engines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure component development meets requirements
  • Work with shop floor personnel to assemble and test components
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in engineering discipline (aerospace, mechanical, chemical, or physics)
  • 2+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Computer-aided design (CAD) experience
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in engineering discipline
  • Experience with component fabrication (mill, lathe, CNC, welding, etc.)
  • Strong technical fundamentals in propulsion, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural analysis
