At Collins Aerospace, we are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Expert to lead our production and new development programs. With a strong background in EMC engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC requirements.

About the Role
  • Lead production and new development programs to ensure compliance with EMI/EMC requirements
  • Drive development and qualification activities for assigned program/projects
  • Review and translate high-level EMI/EMC requirements to the system and circuit level
  • Support hardware and system design efforts
  • Develop simulation models for the analysis of interference coupling mechanisms

You will create EMC control plans, guidelines, test procedures, and test reports, mentor junior members of the technical EMI/EMC team, and support EMC Standard Work. Additionally, you will develop and design EMI/EMC test methodologies and test setups, supervise EMC setup construction and system integration into the EMC setup, and perform EMC assessments for design changes.
