Investment Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our Private Assets Research Group in WLA/MDR. The successful candidate will support the identification of new private market investment opportunities, conduct market research, and monitor existing investments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the strategy heads in sourcing new investment opportunities in the private equity and venture capital sectors.
  • Liaise with managers, attend due diligence meetings, perform performance and portfolio analysis utilizing data in Excel, and write summaries of meetings and investment recommendations.
  • Conduct regular investment monitoring calls with existing managers and provide summaries of key performance drivers, portfolio changes and organizational developments.
  • Track and analyze key portfolio and performance metrics.
  • Conduct industry research in the private equity and venture capital sectors to monitor market trends and contribute to the team's quarterly market outlook, webinars, and research papers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg.
  • Developed understanding of investment management and financial analysis.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
