Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Observer to join our team at AdventHealth Carrollwood. As a Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms displayed on the telemetry console.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and report cardiac arrhythmias/dysrhythmias
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate respect for co-workers and develop positive working relationships
  • Incorporate Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice
  • Accurately identify cardiac arrhythmias in 2 leads (Lead II and MCL) and all pacer rhythms
Requirements
  • High School education or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a Monitor Technician or completion of a Novice arrhythmia or similar course acceptable to the facility
  • Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
