Job Title: Heavy Civil Project Manager

GPAC is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge and road construction and be able to manage office and field staff to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project proposals to determine budget, time frames, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Develop work plans, assign duties, and provide technical advice to project staff.
  • Arrange permits, drawings, and submittals; negotiate and execute change orders.
  • Prepare project reports for management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project closeout, including final quantities, change orders, and releases from agreements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, including bridge and road projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong technical orientation.
  • Ability to weigh decisions carefully and thoroughly, based on expertise and risk assessment.
