About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Internal Audit team as a Spring Intern. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of operational, compliance, and financial audits for various functions within the company.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and test internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations for business process enhancements and internal control improvements.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate audit findings to senior management and external auditors.
  • Document and analyze data to identify deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, extravagance, fraud, or lack of compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Perform self-reviews of work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Visit field locations to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from a four-year college.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite, with knowledge of ACL a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% if needed.
