Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and accurately record patient vital signs
  • Document patient history and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Participate in in-office procedures under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider
  • Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing and venipuncture for lab testing
  • Prescribe medication and maintain patient charts
  • Manage inventory and maintain patient examination rooms
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in patient care setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • LPN licensure in the state of New York required
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Stand, walk, and lift patients as needed
  • Work in a variety of settings, including patient examination rooms and clinical areas
