Pavement Marking Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pavement Marking Technician to join our team at McShea Contracting. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to the pavement marking process, including driving and operating specialized equipment.

About the Role:

• You will be working with our team to ensure high-quality pavement markings are applied throughout Florida.
• As a Pavement Marking Technician, you will operate large and small vehicles, as well as hand machines, fork lifts, and other equipment necessary for the job.
• Your tasks may include loading and unloading materials, installing preformed thermoplastics, and following all safety procedures.
• You will also be required to travel overnight, sometimes for up to a week, to complete projects in different locations.

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license and clean MVR record are essential for this position.
• Prior experience with CDL A or B licenses is preferred but not required.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $17-$19 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide stipends and per diems for overnight travel.

Working Conditions:

• You will regularly be required to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds is also expected.
• You will work in outside weather conditions, around moving equipment and machinery parts, traffic, and fumes and airborne particles.
