About the Role:
  • Job Summary: As a CNA/Patient Care Tech, you will provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for patients in our acute care hospital setting.
  • Responsibilities:
  1. Complete Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.
  2. Meet with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks and ensure seamless communication.
  3. Involves patients and families in care planning, respecting their psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
  4. FOLLOW FACILITY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TO PROMOTE PATIENT SAFETY, including radiation safety, fire prevention, and equipment safety practices.
  5. Adhere to fall precautions by assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and remaining with them at all times.
