Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Sales Associate to join our team at Midwest Peterbilt Group. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill parts orders received by phone and ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Research and resolve parts availability issues, including issuing purchase orders as needed
  • Review repair orders to ensure accurate parts issuance and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize computer systems and catalogs to determine part numbers and prices
  • Inspect returned parts for re-stocking and issue credits as necessary
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform related administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with Front Parts Counter staff to ensure seamless customer service
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and insurability with our company's insurance provider
Working Conditions
  • Daily operation of computer and other office equipment
  • Occasional work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels
  • Extensive computer viewing and use of software applications
