Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician-in-Training to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and troubleshooting issues.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by building loyalty and repeat business.
- Program Champion: Champion Thrifty White programs to patients, such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
- Record Keeping: Maintain prescription information to ensure accurate records.
- Medicare Compliance: Understand and follow Medicare Part B requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any rejected claims or billing issues.
- Medicare Support: Assist customers with Medicare Part D questions.
- Nursing Home Procedures: Maintain proper level of nursing home filling procedures.
- Technology: Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
- Flexibility: Able to maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required.
- Teamwork: Willing to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Certification: Currently be or willing to become a certified pharmacy technician registered in the state of MN.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
