Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Yard Truck Switcher to join our production team at our North Carolina manufacturing facility. As a Yard Truck Switcher, you will be responsible for operating the yard truck and executing timely trailer moves in and out of the dock doors to meet production demands and maintain trailer organization within the factory yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the yard truck to move trailers in and out of the dock doors
  • Execute timely trailer moves to meet production demands
  • Maintain trailer organization within the factory yard
  • Work as a team to complete production assignments and tasks
  • Participate in product improvement activities such as defect analysis and quality improvement
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of over the road experience or 1 year of yard switcher experience
  • Current up to date CDL preferred, but not required
  • Ability to pass urinalysis drug screen and physical examination
  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Punctual and dependable attendance
