Job Title: Neonatology Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatology Physician to join our team at CHS Recruiting. As a Neonatology Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborns and their families.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position based in Reno, Nevada. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neonatology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage infants born at 32+ weeks gestational age and weighing 1,500+ grams
  • Oversee convalescing infants after intensive care
  • Care for infants with moderate illnesses expected to resolve without requiring higher-level care
  • Manage infants needing mechanical ventilation for less than 24 hours
  • Stabilize and transfer infants born with gestational age of 34 6/7 weeks or younger
  • Care for low-weight infants who are not ill but require frequent feeding or extended RN care
  • Deliver cardiopulmonary resuscitation and continuous cardiac monitoring as needed
  • Administer supplemental oxygen and intravenous fluids/antibiotics post-transition period
  • Manage scheduled gavage feedings
Requirements:
  • Nevada medical license
  • DEA
  • Board Certification or Eligibility, Neonatology
