The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the development, coordination, and execution of the annual budget for our clients in the healthcare industry. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and coordination of the annual budget, ensuring timely submission and accurate financial data.
- Monitor budget execution data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial models, forecasts, and reports to inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budget development, and execution.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Government, AGA, or ASMC certification and involvement.
- Familiarity with DoD PPBES framework and Navy ERP systems.
- Strong data analytics skills, ability to identify trends and variances.
- Experience tracking and reporting on commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
- Prior experience with G-Invoicing and financial software applications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
