• Examine customer specifications using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
• Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications, retrieving correct materials and performing various fabrication duties.
• Examine work pieces visually, by touch, or using tape rules, calipers, or gauges to ensure products meet desired standards.
• Packaging and shipping of completed orders, installing protective devices to prevent damage during transportation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Select correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction, seeking advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisors.
• Work under close supervision, exercising limited latitude and independent judgment, with detailed checks or close review of output by senior coworkers and/or supervisors.
• No additional responsibilities.

• Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
