International Arbitration Paralegal

A leading global law firm specializing in high-stakes international disputes is seeking a highly skilled Senior International Arbitration Paralegal to join their team in Washington D.C.
About the RoleThis is a hybrid role, with 3 days of in-office work at our Georgetown office, requiring flexibility and adaptability. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to fee earners on complex cases, utilizing your expertise in case management, document review, filings, and hearings.
Responsibilities- Case Management: You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining large electronic and paper case files, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and adhering to procedural and institutional rules.
- Document Review: Collaborate with lawyers and interns to conduct thorough first-level reviews, while working closely with the associate team for second-level review.
- Filings: Assist with written work during submission phases, ensuring consistent styles across documents, conducting cite-checking and proofreading, and managing supporting documentation.
- Hearings: Oversee logistical planning, negotiate contracts, and work closely with fee-earners on opening/closing presentations, including PowerPoint slides.
We are looking for an experienced paralegal with a strong academic background, holding a law degree or equivalent, and a proven interest in international arbitration and dispute resolution.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a paralegal or legal assistant at a leading international dispute resolution practice.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills; additional language proficiency is an asset.
- A team player attitude, with a clear appreciation for client service, both internally and externally.
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide proactive support to fee earners.
- Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proactivity, resourcefulness, and initiative-taking abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience with complex diary management and scheduling, as well as technical proficiency in Microsoft Office software and office equipment.
- Prior experience with research and document production, Westlaw, PLC, or specific arbitration databases is preferred.

Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
